In line with Banque Misr’s ongoing commitment to supporting innovative investments and enhancing the efficiency of the Egyptian capital market, Banque Misr, one of the leading financial institutions, has participated as a key investor in the “C Three Capital 1” fund — the first private investment in public equity (PIPE) fund in Egypt. The fund focuses on investing in publicly listed stocks on the Egyptian Exchange, aiming to improve the financial and operational performance of the companies it invests in by acquiring one or more board seats.

Banque Misr’s investment represents approximately 20% of the fund’s size as part of the fund’s first close, which totaled EGP 1.8 billion, with a target of reaching EGP 3 billion at the final close.

The fund is managed by “C Three” for investment fund management, an independent company established in partnership between CI Capital and Compass Capital. The fund targets investments in fundamentally strong listed companies, following an active strategy to support growth and maximize returns.

The fund’s first close was completed after obtaining approval from the Financial Regulatory Authority in March 2025, with participation from a group of top-tier investors from Egypt and the region, including leading banks and financial institutions. The total number of investors reached 17, reflecting strong confidence in the fund’s structure and strategy.
